I believe that everyone needs a space to feel safe when exploring their own past and experiences in life. When working with clients, I tend to utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques and Systemic-focused approach to guide clients in sessions. In therapy, I tend to use experiential approach in creative ways to help client feel safe in sessions.
During my training years, I have experience working with individuals, couples and families. Some of my work includes working with individuals with experience of trauma, loss, addiction, relationship concerns and work-related concerns. Before pursuing my Masters, I work closely with children with learning needs in schools.
My goal in therapy is to help you find effective ways to manage your life stressors. This could look like empowering and holding space for you in sessions to journey with you. I firmly believe you are the expert in your life, where I come in as an empathetic helper to journey alongside with you.
On top of my work as a counsellor, I am also a dance instructor where I enjoy working with young children to empower them to explore creativity with movements. Besides, I also enjoy reading and journaling as my self-care practice.
